Explore Redding, California
Redding is in Shasta County in northern California. Redding is in a year-round recreation area with scenic access along I-5 to the surrounding Shasta-Trinity National Forests and Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area. It is the largest city in California north of Sacramento.
The Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay serves as both a local landmark and as a connector to hiking and bicycling trails, including the Sacramento River National Recreation Trail, a 10 mile path that runs along both sides of the Sacramento River. Turtle Bay Exploration Park includes 300 acres to explore the regions people, cultures, and natural resources.
